Becoming a practitioner who consistently effects positive change involves much more than knowing a lot of techniques. Even the most powerful tools in our energy medicine toolbox won't create change if we don't know how to craft an effective session and build rapport and trust with our clients.
This 3-class series explores the skills that bring our work to life: from artful intake and confident energy testing to making the best choices about systems and techniques. We’ll also explore navigating those moments when we're unsure what to do, a client isn't improving and how to inspire homework compliance.
Energy medicine has the potential to effect incredible change in people’s lives; this class wants to help you become a powerful vehicle for that change!
Please note: All classes will be held at 7pm Eastern. If you can not attend live, you will have access to the archival recording.
CLASS 1: Wednesday, October 28th
The Art of the Intake
An effective intake is more than asking questions. Learn how to tailor your questions to the person in front of you, while observing body language, tone, and other cues to gather deeper information and build trust.
Testing with Confidence
Testing is one of the biggest challenges for new practitioners, especially when working with friends and family. Develop techniques for becoming a more confident, accurate, and effective energy tester.
Moving Beyond the Tracker Form
Energy tracking is much more than checking off a list of tests. Learn to use testing as an intimate conversation with your client’s energies—and develop discernment about what to test and when to stop.
CLASS 2: Wednesday, November 4
Session Structure
Learn how to construct a session so that every part serves a purpose—from opening and balancing the basic energies, to deeper work with the energy systems, to leaving time for integration.
Choosing Systems
With nine energy systems and countless techniques at our disposal, knowing where to begin can be overwhelming. Learn how to make clear, intelligent choices based on the needs of the client and flow of the session.
What to Do When You’re Lost
Even experienced practitioners can lose their way in the middle of a session. Learn how to slow down, regroup, and reconnect with yourself and your client so you can move forward with clarity and calm.
CLASS 3: Wednesday, November 11
Understanding Our Part
Learn to recognize the boundaries of our role as practitioners. We don't heal our clients—we work with their energies and support their process. Understanding what is—and isn't—ours to carry helps us stay grounded, present, and resilient, especially when a client's circumstances affect us deeply.
Supporting Client Participation
Lasting change requires participation between sessions. Learn ways to help clients engage with their homework, strengthen their self-care, and become active partners in their own wellbeing.
